Hey, my name's Greg Miele, going by RegSounds. (Reg as in rhymes with edge lol.)
I'm 24 living in upstate New York.
I've been making music since I can remember, with drums as my first love at around age 4, I started messing around with keyboards. As I got older, I began playing around with GarageBand when I was around 10. It wasn't until around 15 where I really began getting interested into the technical side, and everything music production has to offer. That's when I moved over to Logic Pro X, and started learning about eq, compression, reverb, etc. It was then where I officially enrolled in YouTube university. (haha) I will add that I actually went to community college and got my associates degree in communications, with a specialty in audio production, but this is the type of work where schooling, in my opinion is not necessary.
Now, fast forward a bunch of years, with paid mentorships, online classes, trial and error, and a bunch of time and experience, I'm at a point where I do this professionally, but there is ALWAYS room to grow and learn.
I produce beats for artists, offer custom ground up production, record, mix/master, and am more recently trying to get into sync T.V/commercial licensing.
I love music, no matter what it is. Whether it's creating a beat from scratch, or getting a vocal performance to sound beautiful and cry worthy, I'm here for it all.
What I love equally is sharing any info that I've picked up over the years, and inspiring anyone.
Music production can be very daunting and overwhelming at times, but the most important thing to remember, is that it's art at the end of the day, and that means there's no rules.
